1. Do You Accept Insurance?

Yes we do! Often times, insurance will cover the total cost of nutritional counseling. 

We are proud to be in network with the following panels: BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, United HealthCare, HealthChoice, Healthcare Hwys, Mending, Medicare, and Medicaid/Soonercare.

2. How Do I Know If My Insurance Will Cover Sessions?

The best way to determine your coverage is to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask if nutritional counseling is covered with your plan. Not sure what to say? I've attached a guide to help with your phone call. Insurance Call Guide

3. Do I Need a Referral?

Typically, a referral is not required to schedule an appointment. However, some insurance plans may require one, so it’s always best to verify your specific benefits with your provider. You can reach out to your provider by calling the number on the back of your insurance card. I've attached a copy of the referral form to provide to your doctor if needed:  Referral Form

A few exceptions to note:

  • Medicare plans: Only cover nutrition counseling for diabetes, and a referral is required

  • Medicaid/SoonerCare plans: A referral is required
